Messy Recipe is a cozy hidden-object/cooking game where you search for the ingredients required for each recipe, adding or omitting extras to your preference. While house-sitting for a friend, you get to know the “kitchen ghost” who haunts the place and is a total foodie. Each day the ingredients are randomly hidden around the kitchen by the ghost, and over time the room gets more chaotic and even gets redecorated to keep things fresh. But the game is never too hard, as you can freely get hints if you can’t find a specific ingredient. Messy Recipe is a short and relaxing narrative game , and a love letter to bonding over cooking.
Launching in April 2026, Messy Recipe will be available on Steam for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
